AUBURN, Wash. — A King County couple says authorities recovered their stolen aircraft at Corona Municipal Airport in California, ending several anxious days after thieves took the plane from Auburn Municipal Airport in the early morning hours of January 3.
Megan McLaughlin and her husband discovered their plane missing Saturday morning from its tie-down spot at the Auburn airport, just six months after purchasing the aircraft. Tracking data revealed when thieves made their getaway.
