An crash involving three vehicles has closed Stevens Pass closed the mountain pass for nearly three hours. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the pass.
CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — Stevens Pass is back open at milepost 72, east of the summit, after a crash closed the roadway Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, two vehicles crashed head-on and a third vehicle was involved. The conditions of the drivers are currently unknown.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Stevens Pass, along with all major passes in the Cascades. Snow is currently accumulating on the pass where the crash occurred.
