Sound Transit to pilot overnight bus service between downtown Seattle and SEA Airport

SEATTLE — Sound Transit announced Thursday it plans to pilot an overnight bus service from downtown Seattle to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, providing 24-hour access to the region’s main air hub.

The pilot, set to launch March 28, will offer service about every 30 minutes between midnight and 4 a.m., the agency said. The service is intended to prepare for an influx of tourists visiting Seattle for the FIFA World Cup this summer.
