Both Snoqualmie Pass and Stevens Pass are open with chain requirements as of this morning.
SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Both I-90 Snoqualmie Pass and US-2 Stevens pass are back open after heavy snowfall, according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
Snoqualmie pass opened around 9 a.m. this morning with a chain requirement in place for all vehicles except all-wheel-drive. According to WSDOT, Snoqualmie Pass got 22 inches of snow overnight.
An hour later at 10 a.m., US-2 at Stevens Pass reopened as well. WSDOT advises drivers to stay safe due to the compact ice still on the road. Chains are required on all
