‘Snohomish strong’: Cleanup underway at historic welding shop after major flooding

SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A massive cleanup effort is underway across Snohomish County after heavy rainfall pushed rivers over their banks — flooding homes, roads, and businesses. In the city of Snohomish, the Snohomish River crested above 34 feet late last week, soaking entire neighborhoods and leaving behind thick mud and debris.
