SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A Snohomish County family has filed a lawsuit against gaming platform Roblox and messaging app Discord after their 13-year-old daughter was allegedly groomed and sexually exploited by an online predator.
The lawsuit claims the girl met someone on Roblox who posed as another child her age. According to the family’s attorney, the person “ended up being an adult male predator who groomed and manipulated the young girl through Roblox.”
