A Snohomish County family alleges their 12-year-old daughter was groomed and coerced through Roblox.
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A Snohomish County family has filed a federal lawsuit against Roblox, accusing the popular online gaming platform of allowing manipulation and grooming that led to the sexual exploitation of their daughter when she was just 12 years old.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday morning in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that an adult man targeted the girl inside a Roblox game in October 2023 while falsely claiming to be her age.
