SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A Lynnwood general contractor abruptly shut down his business this month, leaving more than 30 homeowners and subcontractors across multiple Washington counties claiming more than $1.5 million in unfinished projects and unpaid invoices.
After months of project delays, the owner of Core Contractors LLC emailed clients March 17 that the company was closing. The email was four sentences long.
