A Cessna with three aboard crash-landed near Mukilteo’s Lighthouse Park; all are safe.
MUKILTEO, Wash. — Three people on board a small Cessna airplane are OK after an emergency landing near Lighthouse Park in Mukilteo, according to police.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. after a pilot reported losing power. Communicating with air traffic control at Paine Field, the pilot said they wouldn’t be able to make it to the airport and had to make an emergency landing.
The plane crashed in the water near the Lighthouse Park boat dock.
According to police, boaters and bystanders rushed to help.
