SKYKOMISH, Wash. — A physical education teacher at the Skykomish K-12 School pleaded not guilty Monday after being charged with child rape.
Daniel Lee Bubar, 62, is accused of raping a student over the course of two years, according to the district and law enforcement. He remains in the King County Jail on $750,000 bail.
Bubar was charged March 11 with second- and third-degree child rape and communication with a minor for immoral purposes. Each of those are felony crimes.
