ENUMCLAW, Wash. — Ski resorts around western Washington are seeing new snow this week.
On a year where the resorts have seen less snow than normal, the new powder was a welcome sight for skiers and snowboarders.
Crystal Mountain received 31 inches of snow between Sunday and Thursday.
“This is definitely the largest snowfall we have seen this year,” said Emma Brice, the communications manager with Crystal Mountain.
Brice said that on Feb. 15, the snowpack at Crystal Mountain was at 72% of their average snowfall, so this new snow is something to be excited about.
