The Toy Insider shares some of their toy picks for 2025. Total spending of up $1 trillion is estimated this holiday season, according to National Retail Federation.
SEATTLE — This holiday season, total spending in the U.S. is expected to be close to $1.02 trillion.
According to the National Retail Federation, retail sales in November and December will grow between 3.7% and 4.2% over 2024. That translates to total spending between $1.01 trillion and $1.02 trillion. By comparison, the NRF said last year’s holiday sales rose 4.3% over 2023 to reach $976.1 billion.
