RAVENSDALE, Wash. — A King County judge on Thursday sentenced Andrew Ralph Baim to nearly 25 years in prison for the killing of a Ravensdale father who was run over while trying to stop illegal dumping near his home.
Judge William L. Dixon V sentenced Baim to 296 months in prison after siding with prosecutors who sought the high end of the standard sentencing range. The judge said what began as a property crime escalated into murder through what he described as a “series of selfish decisions.”
