Semi-truck driver facing DUI charge after striking WSDOT vehicle on I-90 near Ellensburg

I-90 near Ellensburg is open after a crash with a road work truck. A driver, uninjured, faces DUI and endangerment charges.

ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Interstate 90 in Kittitas County near Ellensburg has reopened following a crash involving a road maintenance vehicle.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a semi-truck driver hit a Washington State Department of Transportation truck that was actively performing road work. The impact caused the WSDOT vehicle to leave the roadway, cross into the median, and roll over.
