A semi-truck crash blocked all northbound I-5 lanes and three southbound lanes in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood.
SEATTLE — Interstate 5 has reopened in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood after a semi-truck crash blocked most of the highway Wednesday morning.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported the crash just north of Northgate Way about 9:35 a.m.
Six cars, all of which were traveling southbound, were involved in the crash, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson. One car hit a semi-truck, which landed in the northbound lanes, completely blocking traffic. No cars in the northbound lanes were affected by the crash, Johnson said.
