Sellout crowd celebrates Ichiro Suzuki’s jersey retirement at T-Mobile Park

SEATTLE — A sellout crowd packed T-Mobile Park on Saturday for the jersey retirement of Mariners legend Ichiro Suzuki, the highlight of a nearly weeklong slate of events honoring the recently inducted Baseball Hall of Famer.

Fans traveled from across the country and around the world, including Japan, where Suzuki was born and played the first eight seasons of his professional career.
