Seattle's U District neighborhood gears up for summer with new outdoor dining, activities

Inspired by the Ballard and Columbia City neighborhoods, U District is next to revitalize and reinvent outdoor space, allowing for more outdoor dining, pedestrian-friendly streets, and other outdoor activities. This effort is led by volunteers in collaboration with U District Advocates, U District Partnership, small businesses and local community organizations. Visitors can expect a revitalized entertainment district with plenty of activities, shopping and dining options throughout the summer.
