Seattle unicyclist demands answers from hit-and-run driver that dragged them for a block

Seattle police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who dragged an unicyclist a block in Capitol Hill, leaving them with severe injuries.

SEATTLE — Seattle police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that seriously injured a person riding an electric unicycle in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Merc Malden was riding southbound on Melrose Avenue East around 1 p.m., May 25 the week of their birthday, when they were struck by a vehicle.

Malden ended up trapped underneath the car and was dragged about a block, ending up at the intersection of Melrose and Roy Street.
