Seattle to launch new program to curb crime, revitalize Chinatown-International District

Ambassadors are intended to be a visible community resource to help keep Seattle’s Chinatown-International District safe.

SEATTLE — Mayor Bruce Harrell announced a new $1 million investment to improve safety and revitalize Seattle’s Chinatown-International District (CID) in Hing Hay Park on Wednesday.

The money will be used to fund what the city is calling the CID Ambassador Program.
