Seattle Sounders fall 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in final Club World Cup match

The Sounders failed to win a game in their three Club World Cup matches.

SEATTLE — Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) did not allow a single shot on goal as the European powerhouse beat the Seattle Sounders 2-0 Monday afternoon and advanced to the Club World Cup round of 16.

PSG opened the scoring in the 35th minute when a shot from Vitinha that would have finished well wide of the net hit teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and deflected into the goal.
