Seattle smoke shop owner shoots at thieves who targeted store for second time this week

The owner of Xhale Tobacco shot at thieves who crashed into his store early Wednesday morning. The store was also hit with a smash-and-grab on Monday.

SEATTLE — The owner of a smoke shop in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood shot at thieves who crashed into his store early Wednesday morning. It’s the second day this week that Xhale Tobacco was hit with a smash-and-grab burglary. 

The owner confirmed he was inside when the burglars crashed into his store for a second time. He fired shots to scare the thieves away. A KING 5 photographer captured employees sweeping up glass inside the store and taking inventory.
