The 2026 spring homebuying season began energetically, with Seattle seeing a surge in buyer activity and listings.
SEATTLE — The 2026 spring homebuying season has kicked off with a bang.
Kimberly Johnson, an agent with Windermere Real Estate in Seattle, said the moment the spring market started, buyers were out.
“It was very shocking to all of us, and I think we’re all still kind of catching up,” Johnson said.
Johnson said she’s seen a “rapid change” from the end of last year when the market cooled.
