Police respond to a shooting involving officers in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
SEATTLE — One person is in custody after Seattle police interrupted an alleged drug deal Friday afternoon, leading to a shots being fired in the Belltown neighborhood.
Nobody was struck by gunfire, according to police.
Around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Second Avenue and Battery Street, police officers saw the man allegedly dealing drugs. The man ran and police followed him.
During their pursuit, the man pulled out a gun, according to police. An officer shot at the man, but he was not hit.
