Police had responded after reports of a man shooting at someone and then retreating into his apartment.
SEATTLE — Seattle police have arrested a man after hours of being actively engaged in a SWAT standoff with a barricaded suspect in a Lake City apartment Thursday.
Police said they were told a 51-year-old man had shot at a nearby car and then retreated inside his apartment on Lake City Way around 6 a.m. Thursday. They said the apartment will be cleared after the suspect is arrested.
Officers had set up a perimeter around the apartment, and said there is probable cause to arrest the man
