One victim of a carjacking attempt wants others to stay safe by remembering to always keep their doors locked, even while driving.
SEATTLE — A man is recovering after being stabbed during a carjacking attempt in Seattle Tuesday, part of a string of similar incidents reported across the city this week.
Now, one of the victims is speaking out, sharing her experience in hopes of helping others stay safe.
“It was the getaway car,” recounted the woman, who asked not to be identified, recalling how a red minivan waited with its sliding door open as two men tried to carjack her in broad daylight.
