SEATTLE — Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson extended the timeline for a scheduled encampment sweep in Ballard on Wednesday, a spokesperson said, signaling a potential shift in how the city will address homelessness.
Wilson delayed the sweep before visiting the site at Northwest 41st Street and Burke-Gilman Trail, home to about 10 to 15 people previously notified to leave by Monday.
