SEATTLE — As the days grow longer and warmer, Seattle city officials are taking new steps to reduce crime in local parks, including earlier closures and increased enforcement.
Starting Friday, all city parks, including popular waterfront destinations like Alki Beach and Gas Works Park, will close at 10:30 p.m., an hour earlier than in previous summers.
