Seattle has first 60-degree day since October

Seattle’s temperatures soared into the 60s Friday afternoon, the first time since October of last year.

SEATTLE — Seattle officially climbed into the 60s Friday afternoon for the first time this year. 

Friday’s high temperatures

Seattle’s high temperature was 62 degrees.

It was the warmest temperature of 2023 so far and marks the first time this year that Seattle climbed into the 60s. It’s also the first time since October 20, 2022 that Seattle saw a temperature in the 60s.

The average high in Seattle this time of year is 54 degrees.
