SEATTLE — Thousands more Seattle families can now access affordable child care under expanded income eligibility guidelines announced by the city this week.
The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) has raised its income threshold to 110% of the State Median Income, making families earning up to $128,724 annually for a household of three—or $153,244 for a family of four—eligible for co-pay support. The change opens the program to approximately 2,000 additional families.
