SEATTLE — Professional women’s hockey is coming to Seattle, as the city was officially awarded an expansion franchise Wednesday morning.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) announced Seattle will be the league’s eighth franchise, just a week after launching its seventh just a few hours north in Vancouver.
