SEATTLE — The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) unveiled its first three-year implementation outlook for the Seattle Transportation Plan this week, outlining how upcoming projects will advance the city’s 20-year vision for a safe, connected and sustainable transportation system.
Co-created with community input and adopted by City Council in April 2024, the Seattle Transportation Plan establishes a long-term roadmap for equitable and climate-friendly mobility. The new outlook provides a short-term framework for transparency and accountability, showing how SDOT will deliver early actions and measure progress.
