Scooter rider sues Lyft after driver’s alleged Capitol Hill hit-and-run

Lyft sued by 31-year-old man who claims Capitol Hill driver knocked him unconscious, dropped off passenger, then fled — leaving license plate at the scene.

SEATTLE — A Seattle man is suing Lyft after one of its drivers allegedly hit him while he rode a Lime scooter through a Capitol Hill crosswalk and fled the scene.

The 31-year-old man claims in the lawsuit that the collision happened at East Pike Street and Harvard Avenue on Oct. 25, 2024.

“He is struck by a vehicle. Turns out the vehicle was a Lyft driver, who was carrying a customer,” said Chris Davis, founder of Davis Law
