Report: Seattle lands in top 10 most educated cities in the United States

WalletHub has conducted a study examining which cities in the United States have the highest educated population. To do so, researchers studied the 150 largest cities in the county across 11 key metrics. The data includes the share of adults aged 25 and over with a bachelor’s degree or higher, the racial education gap and the quality of the local public schools.

Most major, metropolitan cities want to attracted educated workers with degrees to help fuel the local economy and taxes. On average, a higher degree and more education often leads to higher salaries, meaning the more that graduate spends over time and the more they contribute in taxes. On
