Report: New apartment construction in Seattle continues to decline for 5th year in a row

Despite numerous challenges set forth by the coronavirus pandemic, apartment building construction has remained strong across the country. In fact, over 330,000 new rental units are expected to be delivered nationwide this year, according to a recent report conducted by RENTCafe.

However, despite the nationwide boom in rental housing, the report found that Seattle and five other U.S. cities are seeing a significant decline in apartment construction.
