Renton police are investigating a shooting that left a 27-year-old man hospitalized. Rainier Avenue S reopened to traffic following their processing of the scene.
RENTON, Wash. — The Renton Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 27-year-old man just after midnight on Wednesday.
Police said officers responding to a 911 call found a the man lying in the roadway near the intersection of Rainier Avenue S and SW Victoria Street. Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.
The northbound and southbound lanes of Rainier Avenue S were closed overnight for the investigation, reopening around 5
