A Renton family urged against driving impaired after losing a loved one in a crash.
RENTON, Wash. — A Renton family is pleading with the public to stop driving impaired after losing their loved one in a crash they say never should have happened.
On Aug. 10, Jim Laremore was hit by a suspected impaired driver along Maple Valley Highway. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition with a broken neck, broken ribs, and punctured lungs. For two weeks, his daughter, Pamela Armenta, stayed by his side.
“It’s been literal hell,” she said. “It’s been awful.”
