The flight originated at what was then McChord Air Force Base, now part of Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The plane, en route to Alaska, mysteriously crashed.
KENT, Wash. — Greg Barrowman’s relatives served in the American Revolution, World War II, and Iraq.
“My family has been patriotic,” said Barrowman.
But he said the U.S. military left his family in the dark after the death of his brother in 1963.
“They did not die in vain, and how it happened, hopefully one day we’ll find out,” he said.
His older brother, Bruce, was one of 101 people killed in a plane crash
