PUYALLUP, Wash. — A Puyallup High School student was seriously injured while running with the cross country team when he was hit by a driver on Monday afternoon.
The group of cross-country runners were running near 7th Street Northeast and 2nd Avenue Northeast when a driver hit one of the runners in the intersection, according to the Puyallup Police Department.
