Protesters return to Portland ICE building the day after Border Patrol shooting; at least 1 arrested

Throughout Friday, a small crowd kept vigil outside the ICE facility. By evening, numbers were beginning to grow — setting up the potential for another active night.

PORTLAND, Ore. — After Border Patrol agents shot two people during a traffic stop on Thursday, protesters gathered outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland’s South Waterfront, venting their frustrations with the Trump administration and the way it has wielded immigration enforcement.
