The suspect had led Poulsbo police on a pursuit before coming to a stop and threatening officers with a knife, the department said in a statement.
POULSBO, Wash. — One man is dead after a confrontation with Poulsbo police and the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) on Wednesday night.
Poulsbo police were pursuing a suspect who came to a stop near the intersection of Viking Way and Nordic Cove Lane at around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night. Deputies with KCSO responded to the scene to provide backup.
