Court records say officers found a loaded .22-caliber pistol in the man’s waistband after stopping the train in downtown Puyallup.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — A man accused of pulling out and cocking a gun on a train in Puyallup while drinking alcohol is now facing charges including first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful transit conduct and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, according to court documents.
Pierce County prosecutors charged Jaxsyn Joseph Valenzuela after a Thursday incident at the Sound Transit station in downtown Puyallup.
Prosecutors also said Valenzuela has a criminal history consisting of three felony convictions, including second-degree assault and drive-by shooting.
