Police continue search for hit-and-run suspect who allegedly targeted woman in Tacoma

Nearly a month after a hit-and-run incident in Tacoma left a woman hospitalized with severe injuries, the driver is wanted for attempted murder.

TACOMA, Wash. — Nearly a month after a hit-and-run incident in Tacoma left a woman hospitalized with severe injuries, police continue an active search for the suspect accused of attempted murder. 

The incident occurred on April 29 when Heather Elaine Person, 47, allegedly used a truck to intentionally strike the victim in a smoke shop parking lot along Pacific Avenue.
