A security guard told police the suspect had been seen engaging in a lewd act with a store refrigerator.
SEATTLE — Police arrested a 33-year-old man Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly made threats to kill and brandished a knife at a Trader Joe’s in Seattle.
Officers responded just after 2:15 p.m. to the 1700 block of 16th Avenue East following reports that the man was using racial slurs and threatening store security with a knife, according to the Seattle Police Department blotter. Witnesses said the suspect also threatened to kill everyone in the store.
