Police arrest man after shot fired during dispute over bicycle in Capitol Hill

Police said no one was hurt after a man fired a gun during an argument over a suspected stolen bicycle.

SEATTLE — A 22-year-old man was arrested after a dispute over a bicycle led to gunfire early Sunday in Capitol Hill, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Police said officers were called around 1:45 a.m. to the 800 block of East Thomas Street after reports of a shooting.

Officers were told a suspect had run down an alley while armed with a gun.

Officers found the man nearby, hiding between vehicles, where he was arrested, according to police.
