KENT, Wash. — Police arrested two people in connection to the 2024 shooting death of a Kent-Meridian High School student, according to the Kent Police Department.
An 18-year-old student, identified as Cristopher Yahir Medina Zelaya, was found shot to death at Campus Park, just minutes from the high school on the morning of June 3, 2024. He was killed days before his high school graduation.
The King County Medical Examiner revealed he was shot in the head. His death was ruled a homicide.
