Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies shoot, kill suspect after foot chase in South Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — A Pierce County Sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a suspect after a foot chase in south Tacoma early Monday morning. 

Graveyard shift deputies were on patrol when they saw a group gathered outside a closed smoke shop. At around 1:16 a.m., deputies confronted the subjects and advised dispatch that they had arrested one person because they had an outstanding felony warrant.
