Seattle Fire crews responded to Green Lake for a water rescue, and the person was declared dead at the scene.
SEATTLE — A 40-year-old man was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water at Green Lake in Seattle on Monday.
The Seattle Fire Department responded to the park near East Green Lake Beach for a water rescue just after 3:30 p.m.
The fire department said the person was declared dead at the scene.
The Seattle Police Department said they are not conducting criminal investigation and there were no signs of trauma.
The King County Medical Examiner has been notified.
