SEATAC, Wash. — A passenger was taken into custody Saturday afternoon after making a “flippant remark regarding a bomb” aboard an Alaska Airlines flight at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, according to the Port of Seattle.
The incident occurred while the plane, operated by Horizon Air and bound for Walla Walla, was taxiing to the runway. Alaska Airlines said the passenger made “a direct threat to the safety of the aircraft” while speaking to a flight attendant.
