SPOKANE, Wash. — Pete Serrano was sworn in on Monday as the Interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, following an appointment to the position by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on August 6.
As Interim U.S. Attorney, Serrano will supervise the prosecution of all federal crimes and the litigation of all civil matters in the Eastern District of Washington in which the United States has an interest. He leads a staff of approximately 79 prosecutors, civil litigators, and support personnel
