AUBURN, Wash. — Over 100 small dogs were rescued from an Auburn home in what city officials call “one of the largest animal rescue efforts in Auburn’s history.
The Auburn Police Department said the investigation began as a routine welfare check for a small group of dogs. After two separate operations over the course of a week, a total of 103 dogs were surrendered by the owner of the home.
